Throughout the years a traditional neighbourhood shop in Ajuda grew up to be one of the first supermarkets in Lisbon – Supermercado CC Boa Hora. Several adjacent old buildings were joined together on a deep remodelling process adapting them for the new catering factory and pastry shop businesses. Improvements in technical, storage and office areas were the core of this project. In the shop only the fruit and deli counters were remade. This binding of buildings enabled a unified facade using both traditional materials and a new design glass shade structure.
