With the expansion work, the Sta.Cruz Grill is now called The Carvoaria Restaurant. The grid flames inspired the curves that characterize the new space. Two undulating wooden walls separate the technical areas of the public room. A path is set from the small waiting room of the entrance to the dining room for 90 people. The customer goes through the attendance counter where is received by D. Teresa, follows the showcase of Meat and Fish where you make your order, finishing on the grill where the client speaks with Mr. António Júlio. The large space extends over the divided area into two regions, located at a lower level taking advantage of the gap of the two stores. The wood of the walls take us to the imaginary of cafes of the 60s. Along with the curves and small spaces that transmit comfort and dynamism to the interior spaces. The ceilings and the floors at different heights mark the rooms and provide acoustic comfort. In the room, the atmosphere is clearer to highlight the rolling plans and the built-in wine cellar. The kitchen has been designed to serve more than 500 meals a day.
