The creation of CIARA - Environmental Interpretation and Animal Breeding Center as an environmental compensation measure integrated in the Baixo Sabor Hydroelectric Project was understood by the designers as a reference building for the resident population and future visitors, due to the growing importance and public visibility that have these projects, at a time when tourism and environmental education have become factors of development.
