Rehabilitation of ground floor apartment with 40 m 2 in Rua Maria da Fonte, Lisbon. This project reflects an exercise of assuming the existing aspect of direct access from the street, fostering a common space through this dichotomy, as an entrance space. The need for an ample space, contrary to how it was previously designed, is exalted; surpassing the limit of use by function, as imposed by excessive compartmentalization.
