apartment refurbishment in the iconic neighborhood of São Miguel, in Lisbon.
The apartment is developed through a hall/circulation that runs through the entire fire, articulating the social and private areas of the house. With the use of large doors and openings, a game of continuity and extension is created throughout this area.
Chromatically, the hall/circulation is white, visually enlarging its area, with a volumetric game of a salient gray element that, in addition to dynamizing the space, frame a complete sanitary installation common to two of the bedrooms.
IS social is a discreet space, which features a mirror-lined wall making it wider, containing a sculptural washbasin carved in stone with a contemporary language.
At the end of the hall we find the suite: a compartment that allows you to separate the sleeping area, the mirrored closet that gives more depth to the space and an IS, with a large shower and stone washbasin that extend throughout the entire room.
The apartment's social area, comprising a living/dining room, is painted in dark gray, standing out from the white of the rest of the apartment. A large glass door with an iron frame allows communication between this and the kitchen, also gray, creating a uniformity of space and giving it amplitude.
