Architectural design public competition for a family health service unit in Belém, Lisbon

This proposal is inspired by the existing urban green landscape.
The whole building volume is gradually transformed due to a sequence of sections applied to it following the existing exterior paths and a main entrance separating the public area from the offices.

A central area with a wavy glassed interior garden offers a quiet waiting area for the patients. This wavy form cuts into the green rooftop allowing its high trees to grow above the roof height preserving somehow the memory of the former landscape.
